Watch Out Ladies

I'm going to the BlogHer Conference.

(No, this isn't another Karen Mann thing.)

Yesterday, I signed up for the BlogHer conference. I cashed in some frequent flyer miles and I'm going FIRST CLASS, baby. Whoo hoo! I'll be able to start drinking EARLY. I made this icon for Melissa, who's also going:

I'm really pretty excited about it. I mean, there'll be a ton of women there, I have no obligation to actually do anything except listen, and there's likely to be a good deal of partying afterwards. How could it get any better? (Maybe if we start partying DURING.) And though I might get distracted by my efforts to pour liquor down Melissa's throat, I might actually learn a few things. Or maybe even teach people a few things. Who knows.

I'll also be taking pictures and notes like mad, so you can expect some rockin' blog entries afterwards. And my goal will be to make such an utter spectacle of myself that goofy pictures of me end up on a hundred women's blogs all over the world.

Okay, it's doubtful I'll have the cojones to do that. But hopefully a few people will at least notice I'm there. And maybe they'll say "ARP". Maybe I should have some kind of promotion, like "if you say ARP to me, I'll buy you a drink". It's a win-win situation here!

Oh, it's gonna rock all right.

Hey look, I got a trackback! It's not quite an ARP, but that'll be good for a free drink for Lisa Stone.

Oops. Looks like I misspelled cojones in one of my posts. (My computer and blogger's spell check do not like each other, so I use a dictionary when I feel uncertain.)

Rawk on, Ken! Rawk on!
