So saying "Happy Fourth of July" now is kind of like when you say "good-bye" to someone, and then you end up both walking in the same direction, with an awkward silence.

I'd go, but I think it's going to be too hot. (Remember LAST year? When I didn't go?)

You'll hate this, but it got a little chilly last night and I had to put on a sweater. I was in heaven.
