Today's Blabberings
Monday, 2005 April 11 - 8:33 pm
At first I titled this "Today's Miscellany", but then I noticed I just used that one.

I'll try to come up with a real post later this evening, but for now, here are the fleeting thoughts that are drifting in and out of the transom of my mind.

I went running this evening. My two-mile time: 17:36. Not bad. There were lots of women out running at the park today, but it's hard to be flirty when you're wheezing and on the verge of having a heart attack.

I just watched an Internet video. No, it wasn't pr0n. Three different cool people have pointed out the Decemberists' "16 Military Wives" to me. It's good. Go check it out.

I've discovered a new annoyance. My old jeans, the ones Crouching Hamster doesn't like anyway because they don't show off my booty enough, make a thwack-thwack noise as I walk. The bottoms of the pant legs hit each other with every step, unless I walk bow-legged. So today I was walking around as if I were in the Ministry of Silly Walks.

The FDA is considering relaxing its ban on silicone breast implants. As much as I would like to say something about this, I won't.
