Blog Note: Site Updates | Tuesday, 2005 January 11 - 8:14 pm |
A few minor updates to the web site. I made a few minor updates to the fonts and colors on this site. I'm not sure I'm thrilled with the current combination, but I was up at 2:30 a.m. working on this stuff and I was too tired to make any more tweaks. I'm considering moving away from the current metallic-grey theme, but that would require a bunch of Photoshop work to fix up all the images and logos... that might be more time than I want to invest. As far as fonts, it's darn near impossible to find fonts that look right on every browser and every platform. As usual, things here are optimized for Safari on Mac OS X. If anything is utterly unreadable on your particular browser, let me know (but first try increasing your browser's default font size to see if that helps). More significantly, I've moved some of my favorite links to the left sidebar; before, they were buried back on my "Friends" page. Check out my new link to Self Taught Girl; she writes some really neat stuff. The "Friends" page and the "About" page will have some more interesting content, hopefully soon; I just need to spend some time on photography and creative writing first. |
