Real Kato Blog: Blog Note: New Features

I've added new customization features to this site.

I've created the ability to set up custom viewing colors for this web site, in case you find the current colors hard to read. You can try this feature out by going to the new preferences page.

This feature relies on Javascript and cookies, so you'll need to have those enabled. Some of the coding was pretty hairy and I haven't had the chance to test it on every browser. Please let me know if you run into any trouble.

Oh, I still need to make it so the comment frame gets the same colors as the rest of the page. That'll be coming soon.

Okay, the comment frame should be inheriting color preferences properly now.

Oh, we are definitely geeks.

I realized that there are a few things that aren't affected by the preferences, like the colors of headings. I'll fix that eventually too. Maybe tomorrow. Right now I need to do some drinking.
