August 26 Frozen Meal: Lean Cuisine Sweet and Spicy Ginger Chicken
Thursday, 2010 September 23 - 1:18 pm
"Chicken tenderloins with udon noodles, broccoli, carrots, red peppers and water chestnuts in a sweet and spicy ginger sauce."

Box

Meal

Another steam-in-the-bag meal from Lean Cuisine. These have been generally good so far.

Taste: It's surprisingly spicy for a frozen meal. There's a good kick of ginger and chili. The udon noodles have a nice texture, though they're oddly cut short, making them hard to pick up with a fork. The chicken and vegetables are your typical steamed frozen-lunch fare. Score: 2.5/5.0

Nutrition

Nutrition: Borderline on the sodium; lots of Vitamin A. Score: 3.0/3.0

Packaging: Again, you just microwave the whole bag, and dump the contents onto a plate at the end. Score: 2.0/2.0

Total Score: 7.5/10.0
