September 24 Frozen Meal: Healthy Choice Chicken Romano Fresca
Monday, 2010 October 11 - 12:33 pm
"Chicken tenderloins with whole grain pasta, broccoli, red peppers in romano cheese & butter glaze."

Box

Meal

Another entrée with the new steaming package.

Taste: It's decently cooked, except for the chicken, which is a little rubbery. There's not a lot of cheese flavor and not much sauce, though what there is of it has a decent buttery-garlic flavor. The broccoli florets are tiny; it's like they've gone through a miniaturizing process. The meal is a bit small at only 227 grams. Score: 2.5/5.0

Nutrition

Nutrition: Good numbers all around. (I'm giving it credit for having folic acid, which is a B-complex vitamin. Not all meals list this many vitamins; the minimum seems to be Vitamins A and C, and iron and calcium. I wonder why?) Score: 3.0/3.0

Packaging: Very easy to cook; just take it out of the box and microwave the whole thing. Score: 2.0/2.0

Total Score: 7.5/10.0
