Mood Swings! Are! Fun!

I'm feeling better already. Really! You can tell by the exclamation points!

It's about 12:20 a.m. It's raining heavily outside and there's lightning and thunder all around. It's loud and scary and fucking beautiful. I went outside in a t-shirt and boxer shorts and stood there with my head tilted back, letting the rain soak through me, like a scene out a movie.

I feel clean.

Already, most of the sadness is gone. It would be romantic to say that it was because of the rain, but you know what? Mostly, I feel better because of blogs. I feel better because I was able to release all my negative energy in writing. And then, I went to read Melissa and Pinky and Sarah, and those blogs always brings a smile to my face. My darling Sarah, there's a line from your blog that I've been using to crack myself up all week: "Man. Those people sure eat a lot of eggs." I say it to myself constantly, for no reason, and I laugh and laugh and laugh. It's very therapeutic, and it's brilliant.

In all, I read about seventy people's blogs tonight. Thank you, all my lovely blog-friends. You really do make a difference.
