Bad News, Good News | Friday, 2005 July 22 - 2:02 am |
... none of which I can discuss. Kinda like John today, I spent a little bit of time this evening in a state of blinding rage. I can't really talk about why. Fortunately, my indignation over politics tonight was enough to take my mind off my personal feelings of rage. Oh, and of course, there's the soothing numbing bliss of beer... sweet sweet nectar of life. I've developed a quiz, by the way, to determine if you are a drunkard. Complete the sentence, "My favorite activity after having three beers is..." If you answered "having three more beers", then congratulations, you can join me in the "I Hate My Liver" club. If you answered, "I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell," then you must already be well past your sixth beer already... and also, you're my new hero. Today wasn't all bad. A few good things happened, even aside from the beer. But I can't talk about those things either... yet. Hopefully I'll have something to report on the dating front within the next few weeks. It's been a while, I know! I haven't been completely inactive all this time (partly thanks to the soothing numbing bliss of porn), but there just hasn't been anything blogworthy recently. But that may change soon. Stay tuned. Did you people see "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind"? I'm trying to complete the Charlie Kaufman cycle, and I finally saw this one the other day, on IFC. Not bad. It'd be interesting to see it as a double-header with "A Beautiful Mind". Compare and contrast, kids! I'm adding Geese Aplenty to my link bar... he's just too good not to link. Also, I suspect that he's actually me, because of posts like this. Sorry this post is so rambling... I'm deep into the "I Hate My Liver" club, it's nearly 2:00 a.m., and I need more cowbell. Good night. |
