Everything Is Still Okay | Monday, 2005 October 31 - 12:50 am |
The upgrade went well, and life is still good. First, I want to make clear that in my last post, I was NOT referring to Amy when I used the word "obligations". Or the word "weight". Or the word "cheese". I hope we've got that cleared up. It's been another good day today. Apparently the upgrade to Mac OS X 10.4 Panther has gone smoothly; I'm up and running with no problems. And my fantasy football team is on the verge of winning, partly because I chose not to play Daunte Culpepper today (who may be out for the rest of the season with a knee injury). I got a few things done: haircut, laundry, and even a little bit of cleaning. Best of all, in the evening I sneaked over to Amy's house for a little illicit make-out session. We're like teenagers sometimes. Oh, another good thing: daylight savings time has ended. For at least a couple of days, my body clock will be an hour ahead of schedule. I might actually get to work early tomorrow. I'm debating on whether I'm going to wear a costume to work. My friend Kim will probably be dressing up, so I probably should wear something out of solidarity. I've got several costumes from years past lying around, so it won't be difficult to find something. Sometimes I'm really glad I'm a pack rat. |

Wait. You didn't go to a Halloween party this year? |

Naah, Samantha didn't have her party. People wanted me to throw one, but I just didn't have the time or the inclination. Right now I'm at work in my costume. I am the only one dressed up. |

So you're like Bridget Jones in the bunny costume when she attends the brunch and her parents forget to tell her that the "Vicars and Tarts" theme was called off? |

Yeah, something like that. Actually, it turns out that a handful of other people did dress up. There'll be pictures later. That reminds me, I need to have a Vicars and Tarts party. |

Okay... first thing... if you beat me in FFL, you could at least link to my blog. Second... still no love for the trip. |

I'd make the trip from Pittsburgh for a Vicars and Tarts party! |

I just read in this month's Harper's index that Americans spent $2,079,000,000 on fantasy football last year. And here I thought that shit was free! |
