I Coulda Been a Contender
Sunday, 2005 May 29 - 11:51 pm
Man, the things I would do if I only had the time.

Why didn't I think of this? A guy in New York has become somewhat famous because he embarked on a quest to visit a thousand different bars in a year. And, he's blogging the whole thing.

It helps that he's retired. It occurs to me that if I do happen to remain single forever, this would be one of the benefits: you can spend your golden years doing really ridiculous things, and no one will give you any crap about it. "Hey, he's an old bachelor... what else has he got to do?"

Of course, my worry is that this has already happened. I hear this sometimes: "You have time to write on your blog every day? You must not have any kids."
