Today's Frozen Meal: Healthy Choice Balsamic Garlic Chicken
Wednesday, 2010 January 27 - 12:48 pm
From the Mediterranean-inspired "Café Steamers" collection: "Grilled Chicken Tenderloins with Whole Grain Pasta, Mushrooms, Spinach, Tomatoes and Vegetables in Balsamic Garlic Sauce".

Box

Meal+Meal

Meal

I guess they've got a color code for their boxes: orange for Asian-inspired, blue for Mediterranean-inspired, and green for, uh, uninspired?

Taste: This is the first meal that was bad enough that I almost didn't eat it. I don't know if it was the parsley or the sherry, but something had an unpleasant bitter taste. The sauce was thin and runny, the vegetables mushy... the whole thing was a mess. Almost inedible. Score: 0.5/5.0

Nutrition

Nutrition: Too bad about the taste, because nutrition-wise, this is pretty good. 6 grams of fiber, only 4 grams of fat. Score: 2.5/3.0

Packaging: Convenient Café steamer packaging. Score: 2.0/2.0

Total Score: 5.0/10.0
