Today's Frozen Meal: Lean Cuisine Grilled Chicken Caesar | Monday, 2010 February 8 - 1:07 pm |
"Grilled white meat chicken with broccoli, red peppers & garlic flavored radiatore pasta in a parmesan Caesar sauce". The word "Caesar" is used a bit loosely, I think. This is one of the regular-sized (i.e., tiny) Lean Cuisine meals. Taste: It's slightly underseasoned, but I can discern the garlic and the red pepper, and it all goes together pretty well. Still, the sauce is watery and the chicken and broccoli are both overcooked. The chicken is downright rubbery. I think the flavor is ok, but it's a small meal and the overall experience isn't very satisfying. Score: 2.5/5.0 Nutrition: Nothing really bad here, though vitamin content could be a bit higher. Stouffer's should take a page from Kashi and try some whole grain pastas to boost fiber content, too. Score: 2.0/3.0 Packaging: Slit film, peel and stir after three minutes. Score: 1.5/2.0 Total Score: 6.0/10.0 |
