Pictures of my truckload of junk.

Courtesy of Amy, here are pictures of the stuff that got hauled away by 1-800-GOT-JUNK. Let's start with this one, which clearly shows my precious collection of plastic lawn furniture (purchased at the grocery store for $2.99 per chair):

In this next photo, we see how they guys had to close the back gate in order to hold all the stuff in. I wonder what happened when they got to their processing center and opened that gate back up!

Note, however, that one of the guys was VERY interested in my Commodore 1902 monitor, so much so that he kept it for himself.

I actually had TWO Commodore 1902 monitors, only one of which was working. I hope he got the right one.

Here's the truck getting ready to leave. I think there's a very good chance that somewhere on the road out there, near a large pothole, there's a 17" CRT monitor lying smashed on the ground.

1-800-GOT-JUNK claims to recycle as much as they can. It's unfortunate that they don't coordinate with charities to donate stuff that's in good condition (like, my collection of stuffed animals won playing Whack-A-Mole at the State Fair). But hey... it's out of my hands now. Junk be gone, life moves on. (That should be their slogan.)
