Television: Idol Update, Week 13
Wednesday, 2006 May 17 - 8:56 pm
Okay, very quick update because the results show is about to start...

Taylor Hicks - had the most consistent three performances. The second song, Randy's choice, "You Are So Beautiful", was awesome. The other two songs were solid too.

Katharine McPhee - had her own signature moment of the competition. Again, it was the second song, but this was Simon's choice, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". It gave me chills. I mean, WOW, that might have been the best performance since Fantasia's rendition of "Summertime". But her other two performances were just okay.

Elliott Yamin - three mediocre performances. It has got to be time for him to go.

Wow... the results: 33.68%, 33.26%, 33.06% is the vote breakdown. Very, very close.
