Dirty Bush Campaign Tricks
Monday, 2004 March 29 - 1:58 am
Boy, there's a whole laundry list of thing to talk about here.

I won't say that John Kerry is innocent of stretching the truth in his campaign, when talking about Bush. But Bush's attacks are breathtaking in their audacity.

First, there's the claim that John Kerry's budget will cause taxes to be raised by $900 billion. That's a figure the Bush administration just concocted. John Kerry hasn't released a budget. He's talked about spending programs, yes, and he's talked about repealing the undeserved gift (er, I mean, "tax cut") to the wealthy. But come on... $900 billion amounts to $3000 for every man, woman, and child. Are we really expected to believe that Kerry is going to raise taxes like that? And what's more... what if we went back to Bush's campaign promises and added up all the costs there? Oh wait; we see the effect of Bush's economics... the largest deficit in U.S. history. There's one way to spend money without earning it: just borrow. Bush is like a teenager with a credit card.

Then: When Kerry makes an (admittedly ill-advised) off-the-cuff comment about world leaders wanting Kerry to be president over Bush, the Bush campaign staff comes out and says "prove it". They want him to name the leaders. Now, anyone who knows anything about international politics (which is probably about 0.01% of the voting populace) would immediately guess Gerhard Schroeder and Jacque Chirac. So what, Kerry is supposed to rat them out in public? And while we're all going about proving things, Mr. Bush: how about proving the evidence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? How about proving the Saddam-Hussein-to-Al-Qaida link that you kept talking about before the war? How about proving that you've got some credible plan for getting us out of Iraq? How about proving you've got an answer for the Palestinian crisis? How about proving how tax cuts are helping all the people without jobs? How about proving that you're going to find some way to pay for the deficit, Medicare, and Social Security? Give me a freakin' break.

And finally, there's the whole smear campaign about Kerry's Vietnam war protests. Now, how much did Bush give for his country during the Vietnam war? While he was in his cushy non-combat assignment?

Harumph.

FerrayƩ / Switzerland - embezzling of billions of dollars

The incompetence of the BUSH government after the passage of hurricane Katrina.

The corruption of the BUSH government

The confirmation of the nomination of Samuel ALITO to the US Supreme Court by the Senate will condone degrading and corrupt policies by ratifying the decision of George W. BUSH, the greatest criminal of our time.

That's enough, NOW President George W. BUSH has to RESIGN.
