Today's Frozen Meal: Healthy Choice Pumpkin Squash Ravioli
Tuesday, 2010 June 15 - 2:28 pm
"Pumpkin filled ravioli with a butter-sage sauce, asparagus and butternut squash."

Box

Meal

Look! Pictures of olive oil on the box! It must be healthy.

Taste: To say that this is a weird dish would be an understatement. On the one hand, you have the dessert-like pumpkin-apple-brown sugar flavors, like you're eating some kind of Thanksgiving dessert. On the other hand, you've got the butter-garlic-salt flavors from an Italian dish. Put together, it's like you accidentally mixed the entree with the dessert and now you're eating them together. I can't say that anything really tastes outright bad, but the combination of all these different flavors is just bizarre. Score: 1.5/5.0

Nutrition

Nutrition: Too bad about the taste, because the nutrition numbers are good. Score: 3.0/3.0

Packaging: You have to peel the film and stir the food midway through. Score: 1.5/2.0

Total Score: 6.0/10.0
