Thursday's Frozen Meal: Healthy Choice Pineapple Chicken
Monday, 2010 June 21 - 5:32 pm
"Fried Chicken Breast, with Carrots, Pineapple and Red Peppers, in a Sweet Glaze, Over a Bed of Whole Grain Rice." What's with the random commas? It's, madness!

Box

Meal

They weren't lying. Pineapples. And Chicken.

Taste: It's not too bad; kind of a faux-sweet-and-sour dish, like something you might get at a Chinese takeout. But it's way more sweet than sour, though, to the point of being cloying. It could use more ginger; you can't taste any through all the sweetness. The chicken is a processed nugget-y kind of thing. Score: 2.5/5.0

Nutrition

Nutrition: All good numbers; 50% of your Vitamin A! Score: 3.0/3.0

Packaging: Just slit the film; no stirring needed. Score: 2.0/2.0

Total Score: 7.5/10.0
