Friday's Frozen Meal: Healthy Choice Oven Roasted Chicken
Monday, 2010 June 21 - 5:44 pm
"Chicken Tenderloins in Homestyle Gravy, Vegetables, Whipped Potatoes & Peach Multigrain Crisp."

Box

Meal

This looks much like a frozen turkey dinner; in fact, I couldn't tell you the difference by looking at it, or even tasting it.

Taste: The chicken and gravy are pretty generic. The chicken has decent texture to it, and the gravy is flavorful, but it's certainly not restaurant-quality, and unmistakeably frozen-dinner-ish. The potatoes are processed and have an odd consistency. The vegetables are decent, and the dessert has peaches instead of the usual apples or cranberries. Score: 2.5/5.0

Nutrition

Nutrition: No glaring deficiencies. Score: 3.0/3.0

Packaging: As is typical for these kinds of meals, you have to cut out the film over the dessert, slit the film over the vegetables, and stir the entree midway through cooking. Score: 1.0/2.0

Total Score: 6.5/10.0
