October 8 Frozen Meal: Lean Cuisine Baked Chicken
Monday, 2010 November 1 - 1:20 pm
"White meat chicken with savory stuffing and creamy red-skinned mashed potatoes."

Box

Meal

Surprisingly, this seems to be a whole piece of chicken breast: not chicken
chunks, not mechanically separated meat.

Taste: Is it an actual chicken breast? The texture is a little odd, like it's been pressure-cooked. The stuffing/gravy is your usual TV-dinner fare: salty and oniony, with bits of celery. The mashed potatoes are identical to those from the meatloaf dish; they seem to be genuine. It's a lot like Lean Cuisine's turkey breast meal; overall it's not too bad. Score: 2.5/5.0

Nutrition

Nutrition: Low in fiber and vitamins; okay otherwise. Score: 2.0/3.0

Packaging: You have to slit the film and stir midway through cooking. Score: 1.5/2.0

Total Score: 6.0/10.0
