Katrina Aid Meme Summary
Tuesday, 2005 September 13 - 9:14 am
A recap of Katrina Aid posts on realkato.com.

Well, the Katrina Aid Meme lives on, even though I've hit my donation limit. Go back to the original page for a list of known replicants of the meme; the list continues to grow!

I also posted updates here and here.

Update: I discovered a parallel and unrelated meme here! Huh. Some of the "variants" I spotted were actually probably children of that meme, or perhaps even a different one. But I'm pretty sure all the replicants I listed originated from here.

Again, many thanks to all who participated, especially those who replicated the meme or started their own idea. That's exactly the effect I was hoping for. Hooray for the blogosphere! Someone alert the mainstream media that blogs are not evil after all.

wow - that's fantastic how many links you've gotten!

that's a much more productive use for memes rather than just telling the world how many books/movies/cds you have :-)
