Last Friday's Frozen Meal: Healthy Choice Sweet and Tangy Chicken BBQ
Tuesday, 2010 July 6 - 12:22 pm
"Chicken Tenderloins in a BBQ Sauce, Sweet Corn Blend, Red Skin Potatoes & Caramel Apple Multigrain Crisp." Note that it's "BBQ", not "barbecue".

Box

Meal

The "BBQ" chicken is suspiciously similar-looking to their "oven roasted" chicken.

Taste: There's no mistaking this for any kind of barbecued chicken. I suppose putting steamed chicken chunks in a watery, ketchupy "barbecue" sauce is what makes this "BBQ" instead of "barbecue"? It's almost laughably bad. The corn is actually quite good, but this meal is definitely one to avoid. Score: 1.5/5.0

Nutrition

Nutrition: All good numbers. It's a shame about the taste. Score: 3.0/3.0

Packaging: Requires cutting the film, and stirring midway through cooking. Score: 1.0/2.0

Total Score: 5.5/10.0
